Data Deletion Policy
Your data belongs to you. Here is exactly what we store, how to request deletion, and our commitment to your privacy rights under GDPR and CCPA.
What Data We Store
When you connect a platform (e.g., Facebook, Google) to RevioReputation, we store the following data to provide the review management service:
Facebook User ID
Your unique Facebook identifier used to link your account integration.
Facebook Username
Your Facebook display name, stored for integration identification.
Email Address
The email associated with your Facebook account, used for notification purposes.
Page ID & Page Name
Your Facebook Business Page identifier and name for review monitoring.
Page Reviews & Comments
Reviews and comments from your Facebook Business Page for reputation management.
Access Token (AES-256 encrypted)
Your Facebook access token, encrypted with AES-256-CBC and stored securely. Never logged or exposed.
We do not store platform passwords. All platform connections use OAuth 2.0 or API keys, encrypted with AES-256-CBC.
How to Request Data Deletion
Disconnect the Integration
Go to your RevioReputation dashboard, navigate to Integrations, and disconnect your Facebook (or other platform) integration. This immediately stops data collection.
Request Data Deletion
Send an email to support@revioreputation.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" including your account email. We process requests within 48 hours.
Revoke Access in the Platform
For Facebook: visit Facebook Settings > Business Integrations and remove RevioReputation to revoke all remaining access permissions.
Delete Your Account (Optional)
For complete data removal, delete your RevioReputation account from Account > Security > Delete Account. All data will be permanently erased after a 30-day grace period.
Data Retention
30-Day Soft-Delete Grace Period
When you delete your account, data enters a 30-day soft-delete state. During this period, you can contact support to recover your account. After 30 days, all data is permanently and irreversibly erased.
Platform-Specific Data Deletion
Disconnecting a single platform removes all data from that platform within 48 hours. Other platform data remains intact.
Backup Purge
Encrypted backups containing deleted data are purged within 30 days of the deletion request.
Data Deletion FAQ
How long does data deletion take?
Once you submit a deletion request, we process it within 48 hours. Your platform-related data is immediately removed from active systems. Encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
What happens to my reviews after deletion?
All reviews collected from the disconnected platform are permanently deleted from our systems. Reviews from other platforms are not affected unless you also remove those integrations.
Can I use RevioReputation after deleting platform data?
Yes. Deleting data from one platform only removes that integration. You can continue using RevioReputation with other connected platforms.
How can I verify my data has been deleted?
After processing your request, we send a confirmation email to your registered address. You can also check your Integrations page to verify the integration has been fully removed.
What about GDPR right to erasure?
We fully support GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure). EU residents can request complete data deletion at any time. We respond to all GDPR requests within 30 days as required by regulation.
